We had an outstanding stay at the hotel. Our room met our expectations. Our suite had a lake and mountain view and it was beautiful. The hotel staff were excellent and very polite. We want to mention the very helpful tips we got about the area from hotel staff Jario and Antonella and help in making dinner reservations locally and the funicular mountain train, this helped us have a great stay in Lugano and the hotel. The location was excellent in my opinion. A very close walk to the lake and very nearby are 2 supermarkets. There is a bus stop right next to the front entrance of the hotel for the #2 bus that can take you to and from the main train station of Lugano. We would love to return and stay here again in the future. Included a photo of a view of the lake from our room (about 5:00 am in the morning).

On arrival, we were upgraded by the friendly receptionist to a suite which was very comfortable with a balcony as well. Relaxing to have extra space as this was around the twentieth accommodation we had stayed in over thirty-five days. The bed most importantly was supremely comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. Sufficient power points for all our devices. Warm shower. Complimentary water and soft drinks. One of our main objectives in Lugano was to enjoy the boat trips on the lake. The stop for this was a few minutes’ walk from the hotel with a tasty ice-cream outlet as well if we arrived early. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We ate three evening meals in the dining room. These were well prepared and staff were most attentive.

Refrigerator good sized, and we were accorded free water and soft drinks. Balcony had wide view, and comfortable seating pads. TV placement and size fine. Pool good for actual swimming, but no shallow end, which didn’t bother me. Breakfast selection was amazing, and had choices for vegans and hearty eaters of all kinds. Might help to have designated smoking tables. Fast service at bar. Front desk staff extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. No question I and my family of 12, ages 18-87, would stay here again.

The most special things about the hotel is that it caters the need of every guest, we requested them addition of grill chicken sandwich in breakfast menu and they adjusted it the next day and until we stayed in the hotel 😊 As we were on our honeymoon, they also upgraded our room complimentary which made our stay more comfortable. Hence, much recommended.
