Hotel De La Paix

Lovely experience. Very polite and attentive staff. We booked a family room for one night, and we got upgraded to a suite with balcony, which was absolutely lovely. Mini bar was free, so we didn't have to worry about leaving the room for drinks after a long day on the road. Bathrobes and shippers were provided and toiletries as well. Very comfortable bed and pillows (a softer one and a harder one available for each, depending on the preferences). We had a very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant, by the pool. Again, the staff was absolutely lovely and very polite. For breakfast, it was a very diverse buffet with different choices for drinks, salty or sweet options, vegetables, fruits, etc... Didn't get the chance to use the pool, but we were offered extra towels from the reception if/when we would've used it.

Everything beginning from the staff and reception all the way to the room and the property was just amazing also location is perfect 2 bus stops to the city center and of course I don’t to forget how the guest relation Barbara helped us a lot with everting things public transportation tickets, tour guid and last provide us with umbrellas as it was rainy upon our arrival amazing thank you so much.

Very good hotel, immaculately clean, and both the hotel and garden area were very attractive and well cared for. 'Thank you' to the staff, who were all very welcoming, professional and helpful. Room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom and balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet, with lots of choices. Free parking in the hotel grounds is a big bonus. We would definitely be happy to book another stay at this hotel. 🤗

Breakfast was great. Location is awesome, very convenient to funicular, ferry and many restaurants. Enjoyed both restaurants at the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Barbara, the concierge was incredibly helpful to us and a pleasure to deal with. Karim was our server for several breakfasts as well as dinner at Al Barilotto. Karim was excellent, very attentive and a pleasure to have as our server. Rooms were clean and we were happy to find several wall hooks in the room to help us stay neat and organized. Pool was clean. Music in the evenings was delightful. 😃😃😃 In summary, we loved our stay at your hotel.

The hotel is amazing starting with the welcoming staff, to the stylish touches and finally the cozy, plush rooms. They go out of their way to assist you and the property has many great features: two restaurants, a pool, terrazza and complimentary breakfast buffet. We were only in Lugano one night but Hotel de la Paix made it extra special!
